We know that this is a hard time in our area, and we are with you through it all. Alameda County of Public Health has issued a Shelter in Place that began at 12:01am 03/17/2020 for all non-essential businesses and personnel.
Adams Autoworx and Adams Tireworx are working closely with our local, state and federal governments to ensure each other’s safety and minimizing the spread of the Coronavirus. With that said, we are considered an “Essential Business” as found in section 10 of the March 10, 2020 Public Order and will remain Open for Business to ensure that you are able to get to and from any necessary travels. Per the order of the County Health Officer and the recommendations of the CDC, we have suspended “Waiting” Appointments and have closed off our seating and waiting areas.
If you are within the Castro Valley area, there is an option for an Uber ride at no additional cost. If you are of the age of 65 and older, and within the Castro Valley area, and need service or repair, give us a call by clicking here. and we will come to pick and deliver your vehicle. Our staff will continue to consistently wash all areas of the service shop and offices. We will continue to wear gloves and Personal Protection Equipment while inside the vehicle. The staff is following all recommendations of the CDC, Alameda County Department of Public Health and the World Health organization to include but not limited to Social Distancing, staying home when sick, washing hands for 30 seconds with soap and warm water etc.
Beginning April 1, 2020, we will be disinfecting all cars before and after we service any vehicle with an interior safe disinfectant fog machine. We are implementing a new Social Distancing Protocols which are: to have customers and employees remain 6 feet from each other and ask all customers to stand on the Yellow lines unless asked to come to the counter for a very short period of time. If you are able to drop off your vehicle during off hours, we encourage you to utilize our night drop off service and payment over the phone. We want to keep our community safe but also our staff and appreciate all your help in flattening the curve.
